Weekly Clinic Maintenance

You probably don't think a lot about what goes on behind the scenes to get our mobile clinic ready for the road!  Every week we have to get gas, fill the water tank and empty the grey and black water tanks.  Not glamorous but necessary to keep Bertha in tip top shape and ready to serve our community!  Before we moved into our new shelter, Bertha was parked off site because she didn't fit in the parking lot at our old shelter.  This process took about 2 hours a week because we had to pick her up, take her to a dump site and then take her to our thrift shop to add water.  While we were very happy to have places to do that, being at our new shelter has made it so much easier and has cut the time down to 45 minutes.  Watch the video for a one minute glimpse into the process!
