We're so excited that Brook, Indigo, Stabler, Sailor, Twig, Solomon, Prince, Bareet, Finn, Moo Moo, Nemo, Dancing Queen, Andromeda, Sean and Billy found their new homes this week!

 Dan continues to improve! Just this week, he started playing with his favorite toy, grooming himself and walking all around the lobby! He even scratched on a scratcher and tried to climb up in a chair. He has gained 2.5lbs! He's eating 3 cans of food a day plus crunchy food! What a comeback!
Do you ever buy something just to see how your cat is going to react? We didn't do that this time, but the reactions were hilarious! It's a bonus that it actually works really well - gets lots of hair and dust out of the air and cuts down on humidity. One little machine will make you breathe easier, keep the cat hair out of your food and provide you with some entertainment!

So much has changed in a week! We are so happy with Dan's progress. His poops are solid and he's gaining weight! 1.5 lbs to be exact! He's still weak, but will still take a walk around the lobby once or twice a day! He's eating a bunch and is a much happier boy. Thank you so much for all the prayer and good vibes! We are still cautious, but we are optimistic that Dan is on his way to being healthy!
Each week, our cofounder Scott tells a kitty how he/she came to be at The Cattery. This week he's telling Azriel her story. One of our supporters passed away recently from cancer and we took in her 16 indoor and outdoor cats over a period of several months. Melody was a magnificent quilter and made our staff something each year at Christmas. She was a treasure, as are her kitties. Azriel is a sweet 16 year old girl that loves to give kisses and is quite fond of attention and pets.
