September Volunteer Orientation Date is 9/14/2024
The Cattery offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities! Volunteers are an important part of every department! Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 6 hours of service per month. Please note that new volunteers are often assigned to our most urgently needed jobs, such as cleaning and administrative tasks like filing and phone calls. More experienced volunteers are given opportunities for additional training, which allows for animal interaction, training and care.
Youth Volunteers are welcome! After attending an orientation with a parent or guardian, youth volunteers ages 16-17 may volunteer on their own. Any volunteers under 16 must be with a parent or adult guardian at all times.
