Most of you probably know Dapper Dan's story by now. He wanted Scott to tell it to him and it's too cute.
Also, see a short video of him on his new scooter. Thank you to Toni for sending it to him! We haven't had a lot of time to have him practice, so will post more videos soon!

Celebrating 14 years of saving lives!

10/20/2021

Today is our 14 Year Anniversary! In 14 years we have cared for and adopted out over 8000 cats and kittens into loving homes. We have been located in 5 different shelters and are now in our permanent home. We started a spay/neuter clinic. The first one in our area. We have done over 38,000 spay/neuter surgeries in 9 years. We started a thrift shop to raise funds for our programs. We've had really bad times. We've had amazing times. We haven’t accomplished everything we have set out to do. But we are so proud of our progress. Today we celebrate this milestone with our staff (past and present), our volunteers, our donors, and our supporters.

Behind the Scenes - Petsmart

10/13/2021

A lot goes into getting these kitties adopted.  We wish they magically appeared at Petsmart and set themselves up, but unfortunately, it doesn't happen that way!  Here's a 60 second glimpse into going to Petsmart!  This day we only had room for 3 cats.  The next day it was 8, so a lot more prep and energy to get them to Petsmart and set them up!

Do your kitties drink enough water?

10/13/2021

Cats are as, if not more, picky about their water as they are their food. It's to be expected.  They only want the best.  We all know that hydration is super important for everyone (did you get your ounces in today?) so why not make it tasty and fun!  You don't want to drink stagnant water, why should they?  And water fountains are just pretty!
Here's the link:  https://bit.ly/3DsQ1KB   !  And if you use coupon code Cattery, you'll get an additional 15% off!

Entropion

10/5/2021

We've had several kitties lately that have Entropion, with Mickey being the latest.  Entropion is a genetic condition where the eyelids turn inward, causing the eyelashes to rub and scratch the eye.  This can range from irritating to painful and can cause corneal ulcerations or perforations that leads to vision problems.  The only way to fix it is through surgery.  Mickey had his surgery today (October 5th) and is recovering well!  HIs little face is shaved and his eyes look painful, but it will make his life so much better!
