Episode 5 ~ PODKATZ: Why can't we take every cat?

Most people, unless you are in the sheltering world or know someone that is, don't understand the cat and dog overpopulation problem that is rampant in many parts of the United States.  Especially in the South.  Especially in South Texas.  That means space in shelters is limited and most shelters stay at capacity.  If you find a cat or dog, be prepared to take care of that animal until you find him/her a home, in case placement in an animal shelter isn't available.  
Also, don't be mean to us!  :-)  We're doing the best we can to solve a problem that we didn't create!
