Cattery Fundraiser: Pet Portraits!

On Thursday, April 18th by 9am, we will post a new fundraiser to aid The Cattery Cat Shelter. With every donation made to the fundraiser, a staff member will draw a portrait of your pet. All you have to do is comment on your donation in the Facebook Fundraiser with a photo of your pet, in the fundraiser.  We will then reply with a drawn portrait!

Please note: we are not all artists here, so your pets will be drawn with a range of skills. However, we can guarantee your portrait will be fun and funny, but probably not be museum worthy! 

This fundraising event was so popular last year that we will also be limiting the time spent on each drawing to 10 minutes. You'll get a copy of the picture as a digital image, which you can print or post anywhere you'd like! Just remember to tag The Cattery when you do share your new art.

Want to guarantee an artistic touch to your portrait? If you're a follower of The Cattery, you'll know that we do have some very talented, bona fide artists here. So, if you donate over $100, one of our professional artists will draw your portrait for you, while keeping to the 10-minute time limit. If you donate under $100, any of our staff members might draw your pet's portrait. While you may request a staff member, we cannot guarantee they will be available. However, we will fulfill requests where possible.

What animals can be drawn?

While cats and dogs are our speciality, our team are willing to draw any pet. This includes: fish, rodents, reptiles, rabbit, insects, farm animals, etc.

What are the fundraiser rules?

• One pet per donation/per picture! We can't do multiple pets in one picture at this time.
• Pet picture and donation must be in the Facebook Fundraiser (that will be linked here and posted on our main Facebook page on Thursday 18th April by 9am). We can not track down donations made on other platforms or pictures emailed, so please ensure all pet photos are submitted with your donation.
• Your donation and picture must be posted in the fundraiser by 3:30pm CST to be eligible for a pet portrait.
