Cattery Chronicles: Issue 5 - The Cattery Patreon

It's no secret that shelters such as The Cattery Cat Shelter are completely non-profit. This means that we rely on many forms of donations, including: $2 Tuesdays, Patreon Subscribers and monthly donations via PayPal. For this next issue of The Cattery Chronicles, we'll be talking all about our Patreon, and the benefits there are to registering. 

What is Patreon?

Patreon is a subscription service that allows creators to receive a monthly fee from their subscribers in exchange for exclusive content and perks. Most creators have a choice of tiers with different perks to choose from. 

Cat Lover: $1 a Month

This is our lowest cost subscription tier and has limited spaces. As of 30 Apr 2024, we are currently sold out of our $1 tier. 
For $1 a month, Patreon subscribers receive: 

• Twice-weekly shelter cat photos not shared anywhere else!
• The Sunday Draw! Get a look at how we make our comics, merchandise and more!

Welcome in, Templeton: $2 a Month

Like most Patreon accounts, all tier rewards at The Cattery are stackable. This means when you sign up to our $2 tier, you get everything in both the $2 and $1 tier. 

Purrfect for fans of Templeton, our Thrift Store cat; for $2 a month you'll: ​

• Receive weekly Templeton comics showcasing his antics at the Thrift Shop!
• Plus everything in the previous tier(s). 

Do Patreon Prices include VAT?

​All Patreon tier prices do not include VAT. ​ VAT will be calculated at checkout.

Shelter Supporter: $3 a Month

For $3 a month, Patreon Subscribers are actively helping us combat running costs and aiding in the costly care of the shelter kitties. For $3 a month, Patreons recieve:

• Exclusive nursery and foster kitten pics and videos every Tuesday
• A full shelter tour every Thursdsay
• Plus everything in the previous tier(s).

Is there any discount for Patreon?

Yes! You can subscribe to us on an annual basis, and save 15%. This option is located under the 'choose your membership' part of our Patreon Page.

Cecily's Royal Subject: $5 a Month

Easily our most popular tier, for $5 a month you can become a part of Cecily's inner circle. Benefits of being a subject of Princess Cecily include:

• Quarterly art print! This can be mailed to you or sent as a digital file, depending on your preference.
• Twice monthly Cecily & Friends comic (Updated on the 1st and the 15th!)
• ​Plus everything in the previous tiers.

Guardian Angel: $65 a Month

This is the ultimate tier that we offer at The Cattery for our Patreon account. While this is a big jump from the previous tier, there's a good reason for it! Guardian Angels will sponsor a cat on a monthly basis. This means that for the month, the chosen cat will have no adoption fees, increasing their ability of finding a home.

The Guardian Angel sponsorships also helps to encourage adopters who would normally find our adoption fee to be a barrier. By becoming a Guardian Angel, you're actively bringing more people to the Cattery family! Not to mention, we talk about our Guardian Angel cats all over our social media and Patreon account, so you can learn all about the cat that you've helped to find a family.

Other perks of the Guardian Angel tier include:

• Sponsor-a-cat, a new cat sponsored every month
• The Cattery's undying appreciation and love!

Not sure you want to subscribe?

Making a monthly donation isn't feasible for everyone, and we completely understand this. That's why you can make adhoc donations directly on our website on a schedule that suits you. This can be once a year, or just a one-off. We're grateful for each and every donation se receive, and will ensure every penny will go to the cats.
