Cats Available for Adoption in Texas

If you're looking for a new furry friend in Corpus Christi, Texas, The Cattery Cat Shelter has all the cats you could ever need! 

We'll take you on a tour of just some of our cats available for adoption, and if you like what you see, email us at [email protected].  We are open for adoptions Wednesday - Sunday from 11am-4pm.

Not sure on your availability to visit us in person? You can also come to Petsmart for walk-in adoptions on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am-3:30pm - no appointment needed.

Available Adult Cats

There are currently approximately 35 adult cats available for adoption at The Cattery Cat Shelter. This includes a variety of breeds, from domestic shorthairs to Siamese and tabby cats. Available in all sizes and colours, our adult cats are kept in a cage free environment complete with cat beds, toys and cat trees. 

Some of the adults come as bonded pairs, while others are available to adopt on their own. If you already have cats, we recommend checking that the one you're looking to adopt does well with others. This can be found on their information page on our website, or just ask us when you email. 

While some of our adult cats are camera shy, you can book an appointment to come and meet any listed cat in person by emailing us at [email protected]. We'll always aim to get back to you as quickly as possible. We recommend sending us the name of the cat you're interested in, as well as your availability, so we can quickly find an appointment that suits you.

Teen Room Cats

If you're looking for a younger cat, we also have a teen room that currently has over 20 cats available. These cats are generally under a year, with a lot of energy to spare. 

Adoption fees start at $75 for all of our cats, while some are available for a donation of your choosing, thanks to our guardian sponsorship. All adoptable cats have been spayed or neutered, and come with up-to-date vaccinations and a veterinary voucher. 

Want to see more of our shelter? We also run a TikTok Live every Tuesday at 7pm CDT. Here you'll be able to ask us any questions live, and if possible, we can even show you a close up of a certain cat!
