How do you become a cat lady, you ask? By simply owning a cat, of course! The amount of cats owned doesn't matter, and feeding your local stray counts too.

Here at The Cattery Cat Shelter, we do everything from bathing our cats when needed, to clipping their claws for them. This helps to keep the cats clean and hygienic for meet and greets with potential adopters. So, if you're looking for tips on keeping your cat groomed, this blog is the place to be.

Like everyone else yesterday, we took a small time out in our day to try and catch the eclipse. Yet, for the team at The Cattery, it wasn't quite to be!

Despite all the preparations and even our speciality eclipse sunglasses, it was a little too overcast here in Corpus Christi, Texas. But that didn't stop our team from putting together a vlog for you curious cats, featuring a lot of banter and some cat close-ups. Happy watching!

Kitten season is upon us; while this is a stressful time to be a shelter, no one can deny that the kittens boost the serotonin levels, and make for some heckin' cute videos too!  Want to help us out for kitten season?
